The subsurface model.
Beyond one desk.

The seismic data, interpretation software and graphics card are already on your workstation. Remotle brings that Windows desktop to another office, a home desk or the laptop travelling with you. Keep the working environment together, rather than rebuilding it at every location.1

Keep the data close.
Bring the desktop.

A large interpretation project can mean seismic volumes, well information, linked files and specialist applications. Leave them in the environment where they already work. Remotle sends the workstation’s picture to your device and your keyboard, mouse and pen input back.

A geoscientist can review a section from another office while the GPU and project storage stay in place. For field access, assess the actual connection and the required image detail before planning the workflow.

Interpretation

Navigate a seismic volume or subsurface model using the software installed on your Windows workstation. The application continues to use that machine’s graphics, memory and project paths.

Technical review

Open the working project during a review in another office. Move between the model, sections and supporting documents on the same desktop, rather than preparing another workstation.

Specialist access

Assign a specialist access to the workstation they need. They sign in to Remotle and choose the machine by name; the connection broker is part of the product.

The detail matters.
So does the setup.

Evaluate the whole interpretation desk: the application, the picture, the input devices and the network between locations.

Sections & colour scales
Full-colour 4:4:4 desktop transport preserves fine coloured lines and text. Review your own seismic palettes, annotations and small labels at the resolution you intend to use.
Several views at once
Use up to four monitors, including mixed resolutions and portrait displays. Arrange the interpretation view, logs and reference material as you would at the office desk.
Direct or relayed
Remotle connects directly where possible and uses a relay when needed. Picture quality adapts to the connection; test office-to-office and field routes separately.

A specialist workstation.
A simpler endpoint.

Use the Remotle app on a laptop or turn an existing PC or Mac into a dedicated terminal. At a fixed interpretation desk, test the full monitor layout and input devices before choosing the endpoint. The heavy application work stays on the host.

Remote desktop, connection broker and zero client mode, together. Compare the whole route from the Windows workstation to the desk, including the client device and the people who use it.

The compact Remotle zero client device

A simpler desk.
A full workstation.

Bring a real volume.
Use a real connection.

Start with one interpretation workstation and an active project. Ask the person who uses it every day to evaluate the remote desk.

  • Pan, zoom and rotate the model with your normal colour scales.
  • Check small annotations, monitor layouts and specialist USB devices.
  • Repeat the review over each office and field connection you plan to use.
For your IT team: read about security

1 Performance depends on the workstation, the client device and its displays, and the network connection.

2 Applications run on the Windows host. Check software requirements and remote-use licensing for your intended deployment.

3 4:4:4 colour depends on the workstation graphics card and the client device. HDR10 needs an HDR monitor and a client device that supports HDR.

4 Resolution, frame rate and the number of monitors depend on the workstation graphics card, the client device and its displays, and the network connection. Picture quality and frame rate adjust to the bandwidth available.
